SLOPBOX Terms of Service
DraftDraft v1, 20 October 2026. Plain-language draft for counsel review; not yet legal advice or a final agreement.
1. Who can use SLOPBOX
You must be at least 18 years old. You must not be located in, or a resident of, a territory we block (the current list is on the Odds page). You must not use a VPN or any other method to get around the block. If you do, we can void your purchases and close your account.
2. What SLOPBOX is
SLOPBOX is a consignment marketplace with randomised allocation. Sellers place digital asset bundles (code repositories, domain names, websites, token balances) into a vault. Each accepted bundle is represented by one VaultItem token. Buyers purchase sealed packs. Every pack contains exactly one VaultItem chosen at random according to the published odds. There are no cash prizes and no empty packs.
3. Packs and odds
The price of each pack, the odds per tier, and the reserve band of each tier are published on the Odds page and are read from the smart contract configuration, which controls. If the tier that is rolled has no items available, the contract serves the next lower tier, and if none is lower, the next higher tier. The tier actually served is recorded on-chain.
4. Credits
If you return a pulled item to the vault ("re-deposit"), you receive credits equal to 80% of that item's reserve. Credits can only be spent on packs on SLOPBOX. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred, sold or exchanged for money. Credits are not a deposit and are not held on trust.
5. Sellers
By listing, you confirm that you own the assets, that you have the right to transfer them, that nothing in them infringes anyone's rights, and that your description is accurate. You agree to transfer the repository to our escrow organisation, push the domain to our registrar account, and approve the escrow contract for any tokens. When your item is pulled you are paid the reserve you set, in USDC, by the contract. You may withdraw an unpulled item after seven days. On delivery to a buyer you assign to the buyer all intellectual property in the repository, website and any associated brand, except third-party components that keep their own licences.
6. Buyers
To take delivery you must provide what the asset needs: a GitHub login for repositories, an account at our registrar for domains, and a wallet address for tokens. Hosting credentials are never transferred; you redeploy from the repository. If a delivered item materially differs from its listing, tell us within 14 days and we will investigate, and we may cancel the redemption and return the item token to you. Token balances may have no value at all.
6b. Marketplace
Besides packs, an item can be listed at a fixed price. Buying a listed item is an ordinary purchase: you choose the item, pay the listed price, and receive the item token in the same transaction. There is no chance element and no credits are involved. The seller receives the price minus the marketplace fee; delivery and disputes follow section 6.
7. Fees
SLOPBOX keeps 10% of every pack price and 5% of every marketplace sale. Sellers pay no listing fee. Network gas is paid by whoever sends the transaction.
8. Pausing and changes
We can pause pack sales at any time (for example if the randomness provider is unavailable). Pending pulls that cannot be fulfilled within the reveal window can be refunded by the buyer through the contract. We can change these terms with notice on the site; continued use is acceptance.
9. Prohibited conduct
No manipulation of the randomness or the pool, no listing of assets you do not own, no illegal content, no use by sanctioned persons, no evasion of the geo block.
10. No investment
Nothing on SLOPBOX is an investment, a security, or financial advice. Sellers receive a one-off sale price, not a share of revenue. Buyers receive a digital asset bundle, not a claim on SLOPBOX.
11. Liability
SLOPBOX is provided as is. To the extent allowed by law we exclude liability for indirect loss and cap our total liability to the amount you paid us in the preceding three months. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Governing law
To be set by counsel before launch.
