    Legendary 1 in 20 pulls · worst-case EV $82.90 of a $90.00 budget

Worst-case EV = Σ odds × tier cap. The contract rejects any pack whose worst-case EV exceeds its budget (price × 90%), so sellers can always be paid in full.

Band rule: a reserve of $2.00 or less is Common; up to $15.00 is Rare; up to $100.00 is Epic; up to $1,000.00 is Legendary. Minimum reserve $0.50; above $1,000.00 the contract reverts.

Empty-tier fallback

If the rolled tier is empty, the pull steps down one tier at a time. Packs pause when the Common tier cannot cover every pending pull, so a pull never pays out above the tier it rolled.

The served tier is recorded on-chain with the roll, and it is never higher than the tier rolled. Within a tier the pick is uniform over the items in that bucket.

Packs pause when the Common tier cannot cover every pending pull: each pull waiting for randomness is backed by a sealed Common, so the machine stops selling until it restocks. A pack also cannot be bought while the whole pool is empty, and the contract only sells a pack while the payout pool can cover the cap of the highest stocked tier at or below the pack’s best tier.

Credits

Not money

Re-depositing a pulled item returns it to the pool and grants 80% of its reserve as credits. Credits are an internal balance: non-transferable, non-withdrawable, never expiring, and spendable only on packs here, 1:1 with the USDC price.

A pull paid with credits that is refunded is refunded as credits. Re-deposited items carry no seller, so nothing leaves the payout pool when they are pulled again.
